All schools are inspected periodically by representatives of Her Majesty’s Inspectorate or Ofsted. The report produced following the inspection gives a snapshot of the performance of the school against key criteria. The current OFSTED report which was against the criteria set in May 2021 is available in PDF format via the link below, or by contacting the school office to request a paper based version.
Ofsted graded our school as GOOD, with a summary of:
“Mostly outstanding” with just two foundation subjects (French and Art) where the depth of progress across the school was described as “Strongly Good”.
The overall judgement has to be “Good” with this new Ofsted framework as the two subject areas are linked to the themes, Curriculum and Subject Leadership, which influences the Leadership and Management and the Quality of Education judgements.
The previous Ofsted framework, where we were judged as outstanding overall, had a ‘best fit’ criteria, a less rigorous model, whereas as this new version requires ALL areas to be judged as outstanding to be awarded outstanding overall.

OFSTED Parent View
Parent View is a tool for parents of the school that plays a significant role in feedback when it comes to the time of an OFSTED inspection. Inspectors take a significant amount of time to read this feedback, alongside our annual paper questionnaires and other inspection criteria, in order to make a judgement and rating.
Please follow this Parent View link to register and complete the 12 questions that are available to you for feedback.
For more information on how to use Parent View, please see the online ‘How To’ guide.
