Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Audley End House, stepping back in time to experience life as it was in the Victorian era. Dressed in traditional Victorian attire, the children emersed themselves in history with a guided tour of the house. Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of hands-on activities with Mrs Warwick, the housekeeper, including shining shoes, folding laundry and setting tables just as the Victorians would have done. They also had great fun playing in the Victorian nursery and exploring the servant’s quarters.
