This term Reception Class have been taking part in the Marie Curie Cancer Care Mini Pots of Care project to raise money for Marie Curie nurses. Each child has planted a daffodil bulb and looked after it until it has flowered. They have collected sponsor money for the daffodils they have grown and also baked and decorated 200 fairy cakes to sell to the rest of the school to celebrate the flowering of the daffodils. The Cake Sale and the sponsor money has raised over £350 for the Marie Curie charity.
