Year 6 Rounders Tournament
Team A Results
On the 20th May, Wednesday, Clavering went to JFAN to take part in a rounders tournament. Our first match was against Elsenham and we won 8 and a half to 6.
Great Chesterford was our second game and it was incredibly close. Clavering won by half a rounder to make the final score four and a half to four. The A team then had a break but we were quickly back in positions to play against Chrishall. This match was not as close as our last and we won six to one and a half.
Clavering then joined Wimbish in a game and played hard and won four to two and a half. Our fifth match was against Rickling. Again, we narrowly won to make the score five to three and a half.
The Clavering A team were nervous and determined to win their final match against Debden to make sure they came home after winning all their matches. We tried hard and won our final match with the score of five to one. The A Team then arrived back with gold medals.
