On Tuesday 19th May, to support their Science topics, Classes 3 and 4 enjoyed a fun and educational day at the Pelham Grid Centre. The focus for Year 3 was, “How did that blossom become an apple?” whilst Year 4 investigated the conditions and wildlife in the woodland, meadow and pond habitats.
Both classes were interested to discover if any creatures were caught in the small mammal traps and studied a variety of moths before releasing them.
We were incredibly lucky with the weather. Despite thunderous clouds, only a small amount of hail fell, not enough to dampen the spirits! Thank you to the parents who accompanied us.
