Year 6 at Clavering organised a Macmillan coffee morning on Friday September 30th. They invited parents and grandparents to join their children for teas, coffees and all kinds of cakes in the school hall. They boosted their fund raising with a very well received Clavering Cake Off which saw more than 50 entries from some very talented bakers amongst the children at school. The winner was Amelia in Year 6; runners up were Millie and Rose in Years 6 and 4 and Joseph in Year 1. Mollie and Megan further increased funds raised with a competition to guess the number of decorations on a cake.
Many thanks to all the friends and parents of school who supported the children’s efforts and helped them to raise just short of £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support
