Fantastic flute playing after our lessons last term!
Not only was it non uniform day for Wales who were the Spring Term House Point winners but we had some fantastic flute playing in assembly today after a term of lessons!
The children in Key Stage Two have just finished their flute lessons with Miss Harding. The Wider Opportunities Music Programme funding is supported by our wonderful PTA. All the children have made fantastic progress and three children have taken up individual flute lessons as a result and some more are interested in continuing.
Today, the Year 6 Class played two pieces to us in assembly which were absolutely brilliant – one piece involved a number of solo improvisations by Molly, Imogen, Isaac, Millie, Amelia, Izzy and Emily. They read the sheet music from the interactive charanga music programme. What talent!!!
