The full life-cycle – in our classroom.

There was much excitement during morning registration when the children noticed a change in their butterfly habitat!  Three out of the five caterpillars had emerged as butterflies!  Each group came out to look and Hedgehog group were really lucky to watch a fourth butterfly emerge from its chrysalis.  It was a truly magical time to have witnessed the full life cycle.  The fifth butterfly  emerged during our P.E. lesson!

We plan to take them to Forest School in the morning to release them with our Year 6 buddies there!
