International Week
The children thoroughly enjoyed an informative and fun International Week.
The children were visited by several parents and grandparents, who shared information through presentations and practical activities related to their travels and experiences in different countries. The countries were varied and were presented across all the age groups. Countries such as Italy, Burma, Australia, South Africa, Rwanda, Kenya, Scotland, France, Ireland, Holland, East Asia and Russia. The presentations were interesting, interactive and a lot of fun for the children. We are very grateful for the time the speakers put into preparing their presentations.
As well as learning about different countries to extend their knowledge of the world, the children also developed their speaking and listening skills.
This is our fifth year running a themed week developed through our Parent Forum. Previous years have been Professional Weeks, a Hobby Week and a Global Week.
We would like to thank all the parents that helped to organise and support this event, especially Sarah Birch and Emma Waldock.
