Forest School Celebration:

“Time amongst trees is never wasted time.”
Reception class enjoyed their final session in the forest this morning. They gave a special book of thanks to Mr Simon Cooke. We had a fire, whittle hazel sticks and toasted jumbo marshmallows. At 11.30, the mummies, daddies and younger siblings arrived so that the children could teach their family all the skills and rules they have learned in the forest. We then all sat down and ate a picnic together. It was really very special and a beautiful way to celebrate the end of their first year in school (and Mrs Berrett’s birthday)
