Yesterday Class One had two special visitors, Tommy the Tortoise and Rosie the Hen, to support our English work on the story of ‘Dear Zoo’ and thinking about perfect pets.

We learnt about how to care for them, particularly what they eat and how to touch/ hold them- especially the importance of handwashing after handling them! We even spent time with our Friend in 5 teaching them about the animals. We had a great day and Tommy and Rosie loved being a part of Class One!
