Reception class have been closely observing and keeping track of how well their beans are growing.  They have kept a written diary each and also measured and compared the length of the shoots.  The children noticed that the shoots were starting to wrap around each other so we decided to move them out to the planter to give them the space they need.  They worked hard with forks to turn the soil, adding water to soften it.  The dug a hole and carefully planted the beans and gave them all a lovely drink.
