Reception Class have been very busy learning about 2D shapes in the environment. They loved searching for shapes in the classroom and the outdoor area. They were challenged to recreate shapes with pegs. Outside they found lots of shapes and described them too. The found some hexagons and a semi-circle but couldn’t find a pentagon anywhere. The children completed a tally chart of the shapes they saw.
