To support their learning on Houses and Homes, the Super Squirrels were given the task of making a birds nest to hold at least three eggs.  The children worked individually or in small groups. They had to think about where to build it, what to use and how to make it stable, warm and comfortable. After this, a number of children pretended to be birds and built a nest that they could sit in!
