Number Day 2016 February 5th

Classes enjoyed a variety of mathematical activities on Number Day. Reception class collected and counted sticks whilst in the forest and year 1 put their measurement skills to the test when cooking. Year 3 played and created their own game of ’Who wants to be a Mathionaire?’ and Year 2 and Year 4 puzzled over Maths investigations. Maths games and activities involving resources such as counters, matchsticks and cards proved an interesting challenge in Years 5 and 6. Well done to everyone who ‘dressed up for digits’ and thank you for your contributions to support the NSPCC, a total of £117 was raised.
