Well done to children and parents for some very creative costumes as World Book Day was celebrated in school by several ‘Gangsta Grannys’, ‘Where’s Wallys’, many members from Hogworts School of Wizarding and even a ‘War Horse’.  The children shared their favourite authors and books in class and Year 6 especially enjoyed reading their favourite stories to their buddies in Reception class.  Year 1 children and their ‘friends in 5’ also enjoyed hot chocolate and stories together.

On World Book Day Class 1 took their favourite stories into the hall and read them with their ‘Friend in Five’. They had hot chocolate and biscuits while they were reading. Once they had discussed their books they wrote a book review with their friend.
