Years 3 & 4 had a fabulous time at Colchester Castle on Wednesday.  We saw lots of interesting Roman artefacts and had fun building roundhouses and a Roman temple.  We went beneath the castle where it was dark and smelly!  We were told lots of stories about the Roman invasion.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were extremely polite and well behaved.
