We welcomed Josh Lacey to our school this week as part of our Book Week.  Josh is known for his popular children’s books, including ‘Dragon Sitter’, and ‘A Dog Called Grk’ series.  Each class spent time with Josh listening to extracts from his books; Key Stage Two participate in writing workshops.  Josh also shared hsi newest book ‘The Pet Potato’ which is due to be published in June.  Children in Reception and Year 1 found this very funny.  Year 2 listened to an extract from ‘The Dragon Sitter’ and discussed the characters.  The children enjoyed asking questions and sharing experiences and have already started to write their own stories.
