COVID Information for Parents
We are planning for our full return on March 8th and we are very keen to have all the children back into school. We are now busy conducting the necessary risk assessments and putting the controls and training in place to enable this to happen as safely as possible. Classes will be organised into their own year group bubbles of up to 30, as before, and we are organising our plans so that our additional staff, that cover SEN support, boosting, PPA cover, Deputy Headteacher cover and Learning Mentor support, are only moving across a maximum of two bubbles. All of these measures will be put in place to reduce risk and to make it easier for the track and trace system to operate effectively. There will be staggered start and end times as well as break and lunch times.
We are also planning a back up system, should the need arise. This will involve Teams as in the previous lockdown. Please go to our Remote Learning page for more information: http://www.clavering.essex.sch.uk/remotelearning/
Please try not to worry about your child’s academic progress. The teachers will do what they do best and assess where the children are and teach them accordingly. Our remote learning offer during the previous lockdown will support this process. We are organising for booster sessions to take place across the school from once we return alongside a recovery curriculum.
